Got to love the Italians

If there is one thing you notice about the Italians is that they just don't give a toss and political correctness does not register on their radar. They

1)  Don't wear helmets when they go for a bike ride - wouldn't look good with their outfit and just would simply mess their hair.

2) Plastic bags they can't give you enough of them in the shops. When you say no plastic bag and pop it in your own carry bag they give you 2.

3) No one exercises and they look at you strangely when they see you jogging. The only fellow fitness freak we saw was a walker with an English accent.

4) Drinking they love to drink no waiting for 5 o'clock it's morning noon and night always have wine at the ready.  Went to the local market and paid 6 euros for not 1 but 2 bottles of wine. Bit scared about the taste but so far so good.

5) Smoking wherever and whenever you like.

6) No hats - no one wears a hat and especially never at the beach where you can only wear bikinis  regardless of your body shape.  We were certainly the freak show with our rashies, hats and shoes.

But you know what they are always so happy maybe not giving a dam is the secret to a happy life! Got to love them for it.  Ciao

  2. There might be a connection between #3, #4 & #5.

I hope you are following Italian sun care by using your 50+ on the 1st day, the 30+ on the 2nd day, the 15+ on the 3rd day and then letting your natural system kick in with no more sunscreen.
